Christian Mission Fellowship (CMF) headquarters (formerly known as VICTORY CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLIES) is located at Sinza area in the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The church Ministry was founded in 1995, by Bishop Mgullu Kilimba. In the past twelve years this Church has planted 59 new loca chuhrches accross the country!

In 2003 a Bible training Centre was started for the Church Planters who after the training were sent to unreached areas. Right now there are about ten church planters in various fields accross the country. The training program has been always undertaken at CMF church headquarters. Plans are underway to shift to the 30-acre College compass once the construction projects at the sitte are complete.

In 2004 a strategic decision was taken to change Victory Christian Assemblies to a new of CHRISTIAN MISSION FELLOWSHIP, the main reason behind the change was to focus more on Missions.

Every CMF church around the country conducts its services according to their own programs, which include Sunday and mid-week worship services, prayer meetings, and Bible Study groups and outreach activities. Also women and youth have their meeting days. Members alo do meet in various cell groups for discipleship purposes.

Other ministries include practical counselling, missionary activities, ountreach, house-to-house everngelism, school ministries, and ministry to the needy.

The Bishop's Life and his Call

Bishop Mgullu Kilimba was born in 1958 Ruruma village, Iramba district in Singida region, Tanzania. He is one of the hard working and the most respected church leaders in the country, who has been in the ministry for 23 years now. Bishop Kilimba started as an evangelist, evangelising all over Tanzania and founded a local church ministry by the name of VICTORY CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLIES which later (in 2002) was changed to CHRISTIAN MISSION FELLOWSHIP (CMF).

Over the past years, by grace of God, the church has grown and penetrated in many parts of the country whereby almost 60 CMF local churches have been planted. Bishop Mgullu is the founding overseer of all CMF churches nationwide and he is the Senior Pastor in the Headquarters church in Dar es salaam.

The Headquarter church has a total membership of 150. Regardless of the Islamic opposition in the area, membership and attendance growth of this church is remarkable. We are deliberating on more practical church growth methods so as to speed up with the demand.

Bishop Mgullu is also known as a dynamic servant of God in advancement of the Gospel by organizing big interdenominational evangelistic meetings/gatherings, seminars, and workshops for the body of Christ. Most of the campaigns have always been organized together with different denominations by forming joint committees of bishops and pastors. International speakers from around the world have ministered at these successfully organized campaigns, where thousands of people have given their lives to Christ, healed and delivered from powers of the devil. Thousands of ministers and believers also have received impartation and understanding of the Word of God through teachings and trainings by world-famous speakers who came to Tanzania.

Bishop Mgullu is married to Pastor Devota Kioro, they have two sons whose names are Joshua Mgullu and Elishadai Mgullu. He has adopted two children Fadhili and Rita.

Statement of Belief

1.1We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God.

2.We believe that there is only one God, externally existent in three (3) persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3.We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in his sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and his personal return with power and glory.

4. We believe that the salvation of the lost and sinful men regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

5. We believe in the progressive revelation of the Holy Spirit as found within the Bible, God’s written Word.

6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of both the saved and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
